Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join our value-priced urban apparel team. You will support daily store operations, assist customers, and help merchandise on the sales floor.

The role requires excellent communication, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and basic math for cashiering and checkout procedures. Training provided; opportunities to grow within a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.

Responsibilities

• Process freight and assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance cash register following company policy and handle transactions.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers after transactions.
• Assist management with merchandising on the sales floor and stock levels.
• Handle loss prevention procedures and report incidents of theft or dishonesty.
• Provide professional customer service and greet customers; invite return visits.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with safety procedures, including wearing a name tag.
