Citi Trends is seeking a Store Sales Associate to join our value-priced urban apparel team. You will process freight, assist with price changes, balance registers, and provide friendly customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, excellent communication and organizational skills, and a flexible schedule including nights and weekends. Basic math and loss prevention awareness are also important.

Responsibilities

• Process freight.
• Assist with price changes/markdowns.
• Balance registers per policy.
• Call out prices for customers when ringing.
• Bag merchandise efficiently at checkout.
• Handle cash, checks and cards per policy.
• Get management approval for returns/voids.
• Maintain housekeeping duties as assigned.
• Provide customer service: greet, fit room policies, ring promptly, thank customers, invite return.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Keep a professional appearance and wear name tag.
• Assist merchandising on the sales floor according to stock levels.
• Assist management with tasks per policy.
• Explain exchange/refund policies to customers.
• Support Loss Prevention and report theft or incidents.
