Job summary

Troy University is seeking an Upward Bound Academic Teacher to prepare and conduct assigned classes in alignment with the Upward Bound Program objectives. The role focuses on supporting students from underserved backgrounds by delivering structured instruction and guiding academic skill development to help them reach program goals.

Responsibilities include aligning lessons with program design, tracking student progress, coordinating with program staff, and ensuring timely submission of reference

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, English, Reading, Writing, Spanish, History or related field.
• Experience working with individuals who have overcome disadvantages and barriers similar to those served by the program.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct assigned classes in alignment with the Upward Bound Program objectives.
• Assist in implementing program design and activities for student development.
