OSU-OKC Campus is seeking an Academic Coordinator to support Upward Bound services, delivering workshops, advising high school students, and coordinating activities that bridge high school and college paths.

The role involves campus and community collaboration, presenting workshops, and maintaining program records. Experience with federally funded programs and strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, sociology, psychology, counseling, human relations or related fields.
• Experience serving populations eligible for UB services; working with high school students.
• Valid Oklahoma driver’s license and ability to drive a 15-passenger vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, advises and provides educational counseling for program participants.
• Weekly visits to target schools to meet with participants and recruit new students.
• Coordinate Upward Bound’s social media and engage with students via text, social media and email.
