Job summary

The University of Georgia seeks a Program Coordinator I for Upward Bound to manage academic and enrichment services for eligible students in the Athens area. You will design curricula, recruit and supervise staff, and ensure compliant reporting and assessment processes.

You will work with middle and high school students, coordinate diagnostics and SEP-based advising, and support program evaluation to ensure high impact outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
• Experience coordinating Upward Bound or similar programs is preferred.
• Ability to recruit, train, and supervise staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate academic, college prep, and enrichment services for eligible participants.
• Design and deliver standards-based instructional curriculum.
• Supervise part-time instructional and tutorial staff.
• Administer and analyze diagnostic and achievement assessments.
• Provide academic advising aligned with students’ SEPs in collaboration with counselors.
