Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
• Two years experience working with TRIO or similar projects.
• Experience working with college and financial aid applications.

Responsibilities

• Primary provider of academic services and support to all UB participants.
• Application and assessment assistance.
• Monitor academic progress and provide intervention and/or referrals as needed.
• Serve as the liaison with the target schools.
• Maintain a working relationship with multiple COM departments, community, and parent/guardians.
• Collect, prepare, and maintain confidential records and files to maintain compliance.
• Interpret records for eligibility and placement.
• Responsible for coordinating with target schools recruitment events for potential participants.
• Conduct success workshops for UB participants.
• Assist with planning and implementation of Saturday and Summer Academies.
• Supervise UB PT Tutor Mentor(s) and oversee services and outreach at target schools.
• Provide mentoring and assist with coordination of mentorships and internships.
• Assist with the Annual Performance Review ( APR )
