Qualifications

• BS or MS in chemical/biochemical engineering or related field.
• 2–4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in mammalian cell culture process development for biologics or related viral modalities.
• Hands-on bioreactor operation and process scale-up.
• Experience with Ambr 250 high-throughput bioreactor systems.
• Strong data analysis, experimental design, and technical documentation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute upstream process studies for lentiviral products.
• Perform cell culture using shake flasks, bench-scale bioreactors, and HTS.
• Develop scalable fed-batch and perfusion processes.
• Utilize Ambr 250 for development and scale-down studies.
• Apply design of experiments and data analytics for decision-making.
• Learn Process Analytical Technology and online monitoring methods.
• Analyze data with JMP, MiniTab, Python, Spotfire.
• Evaluate novel upstream technologies for robustness.
• Collaborate with downstream, analytical, automation, modeling, and formulation teams.
• Author technical reports and regulatory documents.
