Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Ottava in Upstate New York. This field-based role focuses on end-to-end commercialization, engaging clinical champions and executives, and guiding capital equipment sales with post-sales adoption support.

You will lead demonstrations, negotiate pricing, and develop quarterly plans to achieve sales targets while collaborating with Clinical and Service teams. A strong healthcare background and travel readiness are essential.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
• A minimum of 6 years in healthcare is required; 3 years in capital sales are required.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% including overnight travel.
• Ability to work in hospital/ASC settings and wear protective gear.
• Strong communication, autonomy, and teamwork in a regulated environment (ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820).

Responsibilities

• Develop quarterly business plans to meet capital equipment and disposable sales targets in the territory.
• Build clinical champions and engage with clinicians and economic buyers.
• Lead product demonstrations and discuss capital pricing with customers.
• Interact with C-Suite stakeholders and navigate complex sales processes.
• Collaborate with Sales, Clinical, and Service teams to ensure adoption and post-sales success.
