Job summary

Biltmore Wine Bar is seeking a Wine Bar Server to manage table service and coordination with staff, delivering world-class guest experiences and promoting wine education. The role emphasizes hospitality, wine knowledge, and attentive service in a dynamic environment.

The position is full-time with shifts generally 8 hours, weekend availability required, and opportunities to engage guests with Vanderbilt Wine Club information.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred, but not required.
• Previous serving experience required (6+ months wine experience preferred in fine dining).
• Commitment to world-class guest service and exceeding expectations.
• Ability to learn proper wine service quickly.
• Knowledge of Biltmore Wines and Asheville area.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate guests’ needs and maintain positive guest relations.
• Deliver wine and food items promptly to guests.
• Maintain wine knowledge and upsell to guests.
• Coordinate guest orders of merchandise and wine.
• Open and close Wine Bar and maintain cleanliness.
• Stocking and inventory of essential items.
