Job summary

The Wine Bar Server at Biltmore in Asheville, NC, coordinates table service and communicates with front and back-of-house teams to deliver a world-class guest experience. Starting pay is $10.00/hour plus tips, with average earnings of $16-$22/hour depending on business volume. Weekend availability is required and shifts average 8 hours.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required
• Must learn proper wine service quickly
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills
• Knowledge of Biltmore Wines and area desired

Responsibilities

• Coordinate table service for guests and communicate with front/back-of-house staff
• Deliver wine and food items promptly to guests
• Promote Vanderbilt Wine Club and wine sales
• Assist in maintaining bar and dining area cleanliness and setup
• Open and close Wine Bar operations as scheduled
