Job summary

The Village Dallas is seeking positively motivated team members to deliver exceptional guest service in a 307-acre residential community with mixed-use features and dining experiences. The role emphasizes greeting guests, presenting menus, and offering personalized beverage suggestions while collaborating with teammates to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or related preferred.
• Minimum 1+ years experience in casual or upscale restaurant required.
• Current TABC and Food Handler’s certification.
• Exhibit food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
• Team oriented.
• Knowledge of POS systems.
• Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible.
• Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a consistently high level of guest service.
• Give unobtrusive, knowledgeable, and genuine service to every guest, every time.
• Greet guests with a warm, personalized welcome.
• Present menus, answer questions, and make personalized suggestions.
• Partner with team members to serve beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations.
• Communicate with guests to ensure their satisfaction and collect feedback.
• Respond to guests' needs and observe dining process.
• Clean and set up dining areas for the next service.
• Refill/restock service areas according to department standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by leader.
