The Village Dallas is seeking positively motivated team members to deliver exceptional guest service in a 307-acre residential community with mixed-use features and dining experiences. Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or related preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years experience in casual or upscale restaurant required.
  • Current TABC and Food Handler’s certification.
  • Exhibit food, wine, and beverage knowledge.
  • Team oriented.
  • Knowledge of POS systems.
  • Organized and detail oriented with the ability to be flexible.
  • Operate with passion, integrity, and respect for both internal team members and external guests.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Deliver a consistently high level of guest service.
  • Give unobtrusive, knowledgeable, and genuine service to every guest, every time.
  • Display a warm, personalized, and caring welcome by greeting our guests upon arrival to their table.
  • Present menus, answer questions, and make personalized suggestions.
  • Partner with team members to serve beverages that meet or exceed guests’ expectations.
  • Communicate with guests to ensure their satisfaction and collect additional feedback and insights.
  • Respond to additional guests requirements by inquiring of needs; observing dining process.
  • Clean and set up the dining areas for the following service.
  • Refill/restock service areas according to the departments’ standards.
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by leader.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or related preferred.
  • Minimum 1+ years experience in casual or upscale restaurant required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds.
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
