Job summary

Goodwin Recruiting is assisting a growing, privately owned restaurant group in recruiting a General Manager for its Fishers, Indiana location. This upscale casual concept features a scratch kitchen, craft beverage program, and high-energy hospitality culture.

The GM will lead all restaurant operations, recruit and develop a strong leadership team, maintain food quality, guest experience, and financial performance, and own controllable costs.

Qualifications

• Current or recent GM in a high-volume, full-service scratch restaurant.
• Upscale or polished casual restaurant experience preferred.
• Experience leading both FOH and BOH operations.
• Strong P&L and financial management experience.
• Proven success recruiting, developing, and retaining restaurant leaders and hourly teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of restaurant operations, including FOH and BOH performance.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a strong restaurant leadership team.
• Build a culture of hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and high performance.
• Maintain high standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Own restaurant financial performance, including sales, labor, food and beverage costs, and controllable expenses.
• Use financial and operating results to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Ensure consistent execution of company systems, procedures, and operating standards.
• Build relationships within the local community and support initiatives that drive restaurant awareness and sales.
• Partner with regional leadership while maintaining ownership and accountability for restaurant results.
