You will label, stock and prepare ingredients, ensuring freshness and adherence to stringent sanitation standards. You’ll follow precise recipes in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining overall cleanliness and safety compliance.

The role requires at least two years of similar experience, strong cooking knowledge, and excellent communication skills to thrive in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment.
• Execute assigned tasks with precision and speed in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Have effective communication skills.
• Handle multiple tasks efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Labels and stocks all ingredients.
• Washes, chops and mixes large amounts of vegetables, meats and other ingredients.
• Ensures ingredients are fresh and by checking storage temperature at regular intervals.
• Follows all relevant nutrition and sanitation guidelines.
• Consistently follows precise recipes.
• Disposes spoiled food and other waste material.
• Maintains cleanliness and ensures that the kitchen is compliant with health and safety regulations.
