Job summary

Tao Group Hospitality in New York seeks a Prep Cook to support high-volume kitchens with prep, cooking, and sanitation duties. You will follow recipes, maintain station cleanliness, and collaborate with chefs and team members to deliver consistent, high-quality guest experiences.

Training includes in-venue Prep Cook training and a Food Handling Certificate; previous culinary experience preferred, with ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience preferred.
• Experience as prep/line cook in a high-volume operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain professional preparation station and assist in all prep activities.
• Wash, chop, and cut food items according to recipe specifications.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and station.
• Label and store products following FIFO and company standards.
