The Hay-Adams in Washington, DC is seeking a hospitality professional to provide outstanding guest service at a premier dining setting. You will anticipate needs, take and deliver orders, and promote the Lafayette Restaurant and The Hay-Adams as part of an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining dining room standards, greeting guests, presenting menus, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment. You will also handle payments and uphold professional service at all times.

Formación

• Must have good working knowledge of the English language.
• High school diploma or GED required; related experience helpful.

Responsabilidades

• Provide excellent guest service and a wow dining experience by anticipating guest needs.
• Take orders, deliver food and beverage orders and maintain assigned stations.
• Promote the Lafayette Restaurant and The Hay-Adams.
• Set dining room tables, maintain cleanliness of equipment and server station.
• Greet guests, seat them, and apply professional service techniques.
• Present menu, answer questions, and offer information on items.
• Take and relay guests' orders accurately to the kitchen.
• Deliver plated items and ensure garnishes and condiments are correct.
• Assist in carving, preparing dishes at guests' tables, and related duties.
• Observe diners, respond to requests, and determine when meals are complete.
• Restock service items and maintain a professional work area.
• Familiar with Micros Front of House System for posting and closing checks.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and prioritize customer care.
• Perform other duties as required.
