Job summary

EverTrue is seeking a dining server for an upscale dining atmosphere. You will greet guests, take and deliver orders, and support food preparation and service standards to ensure a premium guest experience.

Requirements include 1–3 years in fine dining or country club settings, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to follow recipes and dietary restrictions. This role is on-site with competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year (prefer 2–3) waiting in a fine dining or country club.
• Ability to read and follow recipes, diet orders, and resident preference cards.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with interruptions.
• Must be patient with staff, residents and families.
• Ability to develop constructive relationships with colleagues and customers.
• Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
• Service orientation and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.
• Must be willing to obtain Hepatitis A vaccine if working in St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service reflecting an upscale dining experience.
• Take and serve food and beverage orders promptly and accurately.
• Greet guests with courtesy and friendliness; resolve issues when needed.
• Know all menu details, allergens, and preparation methods to describe to guests.
• Make recommendations and share menu information with guests.
• Maintain knowledge of drink recipes for order entry.
• Serve 16+ guests and recall orders as needed.
• Ensure quality and address any issues affecting guest enjoyment.
• Perform dining service setup, including setup of dining room and buffets.
• Assist in receiving and storing food, and ensure proper temperatures and timely service.
• Assist with cleanup and maintaining clean dining areas per policies.
