Job summary

EverTrue seeks a Dining Server to support an upscale dining environment for residents in our senior living community. You will deliver attentive service, know the menu inside out, and work with a courteous team to ensure a refined dining experience.

The role requires 1+ year in fine dining, the ability to manage multiple guests, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. Benefits include PTO and various wellness programs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year (preferably 2–3 years) of waiting in a fine dining or country club venue.
• Ability to read, understand and follow recipes, diet orders and resident preferences.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks with frequent interruptions.
• Patient and tolerant toward staff, residents and family members.
• Strong problem solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret allergen information and describe menu items.
• Hepatitis A vaccination required if working in St. Louis County.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service reflecting an upscale dining experience.
• Take and serve food/beverage orders promptly and appropriately.
• Greet guests with courtesy and address dissatisfactions to ensure satisfaction.
• Know menu details and allergens; describe preparation and cooking methods.
• Make menu recommendations to guests.
• Serve 16+ guests at a time and recall orders on request.
• Check products for quality and address issues affecting guest enjoyment.
• Assist with dining service setup, including tables, buffets and catering support.
• Assist with receiving and storing food and maintaining proper temperatures.
• Assist with cleanup to keep dining areas clean and compliant with policies.
