Job summary

The Biltmore estate is seeking a part-time Server to support fine dining and banquets in Asheville, NC. Up to 20 hours per week, weekend shifts, and varied schedules with several daytime/evening windows.

You will coordinate table service, communicate with front and back of house, deliver hospitality, and uphold Biltmore service standards. Must have high school diploma and at least six months in fine dining; ability to lift 25–50 pounds and work nights/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Previous serving experience in a full-service restaurant required.
• At least six months in a fine dining/upscale setting preferred.
• Commitment to delivering world-class guest service and exceeding expectations.
• Excellent guest relations and communication skills; warm, sincere hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Process guest orders and ensure timely preparation of items.
• Present, open, and pour wine when serving guests.
• Observe and ensure guest satisfaction; respond to requests; determine when meals are complete.
• Total bills and handle payments or refer to supervisors.
• Maintain knowledge of full menu and beverages; upsell items.
