Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a friendly Host to greet guests, escort them to tables, and assist in seating while upholding Biltmore’s service standards. The role includes answering phones, taking reservations, and keeping the reservation book up to date.

Hours typically run 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, averaging 20 hours per week, with weekend availability required. You will support the dining room team, prepare the restaurant for service, and contribute to a clean, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Previous guest/customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, service-oriented team.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and escort to tables.
• Present menus and assist in seating.
• Maintain flow of seating by section to ensure optimal service.
• Take and manage restaurant reservations/cancellations as specified.
• Maintain guest relations and respond to VIP requests.
