Job summary

Biltmore Hospitality in Asheville, NC seeks a Host to warmly greet guests, escort to tables, and support dining room operations. You will manage reservations, assist in seating flow, and help maintain a courteous, efficient restaurant environment.

Responsibilities include answering calls, taking reservations, and ensuring guests’ needs are anticipated with a calm, professional demeanor. Weekend/holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Previous guest service experience required, preferably front of house in fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Fluency in English and basic math skills for cash and credit transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greet arriving guests and escort to tables.
• Maintain flow of seating by section during service.
• Present menus and extend congenialities per guidelines.
• Answer restaurant telephone and take reservations.
• Maintain reservation book and monitor guest needs.
