Redd Hospitality in San Diego, CA is seeking a dynamic Restaurant General Manager and Food and Beverage Manager to lead our upscale dining team. You will oversee all restaurant operations, elevate service, manage budgets, and ensure exceptional food quality and guest satisfaction.

The ideal candidate has hands-on leadership in full-service, scratch cooking environments, strong culinary knowledge, and proven experience in staff development, scheduling, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar leadership role within the food service industry (FULL SERVICE, UPSCALE, FINE DINING).
• Strong culinary knowledge with an understanding of menu development and food presentation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring a high standard of service and quality.
• Manage staff recruitment, training development, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team.
• Implement effective shift management practices to optimize staffing and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement cost-control measures.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies.
• Coordinate banquet services and manage bar operations to enhance guest experiences.
• Utilize POS systems for efficient order processing and inventory management.
• Address customer feedback promptly to maintain satisfaction and loyalty.
