Job summary

Biltmore is seeking a dedicated Server to coordinate table service for guests in a fine-dining setting. You will work with front and back-of-house teams to ensure gracious hospitality and prompt service while adhering to Biltmore standards.

Weekend and holiday availability is required, with primarily 1st shift and some 2nd shift hours. Candidates should have a high school diploma and prior experience in upscale restaurant environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and prior serving experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Minimum six months of related restaurant experience in a fine-dining/upscale setting.
• Strong guest service, communication, and hospitality skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Process guest orders to ensure items are prepared properly and timely.
• Present, open, and pour wine when serving guests.
• Observe diners to ensure satisfaction and respond to requests.
• Total bills and process payments, or refer to supervisors.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and beverages; upsell when appropriate.
• Operate POS system according to guidelines.
• Ensure uniforms are clean and presentable; wear proper footwear.
• Arrive ready to work in full uniform and appropriate attire.
• Ensure cutlery, china, and glassware are spotless before tables.
• Work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Assist bus person with stocking, clearing, and resetting tables.
• Complete side duties before shift end and prep for next meal period.
• Represent Biltmore values and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
