Job summary

Acme Hospitality seeks a friendly, energetic Server to deliver efficient, high-quality service in a fast-paced California setting. You will greet guests, present menus, take orders, upsell, process payments, and ensure accurate delivery of food and beverages.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience as a Server in fine dining or upscale restaurant.
• Proficient knowledge of wine pairing and cocktail recipes.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience with POS systems and basic math.
• Current Food Handler Certification and RBS or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and escort them to tables.
• Explain menu items, specials, ingredients and preparation methods.
• Assist guests in selecting food and beverages with recommendations.
• Take orders using a POS system and coordinate with kitchen staff.
• Ensure special requests are communicated and accommodated.
• Serve food and drinks promptly with proper presentation.
• Monitor tables and maintain cleanliness and condiments.
• Handle guest inquiries courteously and professionally.
• Upsell menu items to enhance dining experience and revenue.
• Process payments accurately using POS; manage cash and cards.
