Job summary

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and a willingness to work flexible weekends and holidays, with knowledge of wines and cocktails and ability to upsell while maintaining high standards of sanitation and guest

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively and follow directions with attention to detail.
• Must be a team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Must have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have knowledge of wines and cocktails.
• Must input data in the POS accurately and have prior POS experience.
• Must read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders accurately.
• Enters food and beverage orders in the POS system accurately.
• Delivers food and beverage orders in a friendly and professional manner.
• Answers all questions regarding the menus accurately.
• Utilizes selling techniques to upsell.
• Handles financial transactions accurately and processes payments.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks.
• Maintain organized and clean work area.
• Communicate with incoming prior shift as to outstanding tables.
• Reports any damages, discrepancies and/or equipment malfunction to manager.
