Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco is seeking an experienced bartender for our MKT Bar. You will deliver exceptional beverage service, greet guests, and prepare cocktails with precision, while recommending pairings and maintaining high sanitation standards.

The role requires at least two years of bartending experience in a luxury setting, extensive wine and cocktail knowledge, and familiarity with POS systems. A bartending/mixology certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years bartending experience in high-volume, upscale environment.
• Extensive wine, cocktail, and food knowledge is required.
• Knowledge of point of sale systems is required; Micros Symphony knowledge is preferred.
• Bartending/mixology certification is preferred and will receive priority consideration.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality beverage service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Greet guests, take orders, and prepare drinks with sophistication.
• Review drink tickets and prepare orders to specification within service standards.
• Recommend cocktails and wines to pair with menu items.
• Maintain sanitation and adhere to State, Local, and Four Seasons standards.
• Collaborate effectively with all colleagues to deliver exceptional service.
