Job summary

Vertiv Customer Engineer role involves installation, commissioning and ongoing service of UPS, power distribution units, and related battery systems. You will build strong customer rapport and collaborate with sales, engineering and service teams to ensure optimal system performance.

The position requires on-site and field-based work with training available to stay current on safety guidelines, procedures and product updates. Travel and flexible schedules are common in this role.

Qualifications

• ASEET or AMEET, or progress towards, is preferred.
• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based upon training completion
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins, Safety Field Change Notices, Field Change Notices, and Service Tips
