Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Customer Engineer to perform installation, commissioning, and service on UPS and power products. You will establish strong rapport with customers, coordinate with sales and internal teams, and ensure uptime and safety during field deployments.

The role requires on-site work in diverse environments, travel, and adherence to company safety policies. Previous military or technical field service experience is highly valued, with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• 4+ years military experience in a related technical field.
• 2+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with communicating professionally and respectfully in written and verbal forms.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and as per company policies and procedures.
• Capable of working under direct supervision or independently based upon training completion.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on technical or procedural issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per published guidelines.
• Keep current on Safety Bulletins and related notices.
