Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Customer Engineer to install, commission, and service UPS, power distribution, and related battery systems. The role requires on-site work with customers, some travel, and strong adherence to safety policies.

You will communicate with teams, complete service reports, and strive for first-time fixes while maintaining excellent customer relationships and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications

• Interpersonal skills including professional communication and etiquette.
• Strong time management to balance technical and administrative tasks.
• Team collaboration with peers, customers, suppliers and leadership.
• Ability to complete administrative tasks promptly.

Responsibilities

• Perform service tasks as assigned and per company policies.
• Render on-site and phone assistance to customers.
• Communicate with Technical Support on issues.
• Implement Field Change Notices per guidelines.
• Maintain safety training and reporting requirements.
