Job summary

EOLA Power is seeking a skilled UPS Field Engineer to apply in-depth knowledge of UPS start-up, testing, and operations. The role involves commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support for power electronics at customer sites, with a focus on South Florida and surrounding regions.

You will conduct testing, complete field reports, and work closely with clients to ensure uptime and reliability. This role requires travel readiness, technical training, and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience with UPS, batteries, PDUs, STSs.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to travel regionally (South Florida) and occasional national travel.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Conduct commissioning-focused design reviews and oversee on-site testing.
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency response, start-up, and field modifications.
• Coordinate with technical support to resolve maintenance or operational issues.
• Assist in developing Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
• Complete Field Service Reports and provide proactive client recommendations.
• Train at company headquarters on testing equipment and rebuilding systems.
