Job summary
EOLA Power is seeking a skilled UPS Field Engineer to lead start-up, testing, and operation of critical power systems at customer sites. The role covers commissioning, maintenance, and expert on-site support with frequent travel from a home base.
The candidate will perform design reviews, on-site testing, and preventative maintenance, while coordinating with support teams and training at headquarters. A technical degree is a plus, with strong customer service and independent work abilities.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience; 10+ years preferred.
- Troubleshoot UPS, batteries, PDUs, STSs, and related equipment.
- Proficient with hand tools and test equipment for maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct commissioning-focused design reviews and test procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency response for field equipment.
- Coordinate with technical support to resolve issues.
- Develop and follow Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
- Complete Field Service Reports and provide recommendations.
