Job summary

EOLA Power is seeking a highly skilled UPS Field Engineer to perform start-up, testing, commissioning, and ongoing maintenance at customer sites. The role requires on-site work, occasional night/weekend shifts, and travel within the Panhandle region with home-based setup.

Candidates should bring 3–5 years of experience (10+ preferred), strong diagnostic abilities with UPS systems, and a customer-focused approach. A technical degree is a plus, with OEM training preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of related experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Proficient with UPS, batteries, PDUs, STSs, etc.
• Must have clean driving record and able to travel.
• OEM training/experience with Emerson/Liebert/Vertiv, APC/MGE/Schneider, Eaton/Powerware/PDI required.
• Military veterans with electrical/mechanical experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning-focused design reviews and on-site testing.
• Preventive maintenance, emergency response, start-up, and field modifications.
• Coordinate with tech support to resolve issues.
• Develop and follow Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
• Prepare Field Service Reports and provide client recommendations.
