EOLA Power is seeking a highly skilled UPS Field Engineer to bill on-site commissioning, testing, and ongoing maintenance for power electronics at customer sites. The role is based from home with regional travel in the Panhandle area and occasional national assignments.

You will perform start-up, testing, preventative maintenance, and emergency support, collaborating with technical teams and training at headquarters.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience minimum; 10+ years preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting UPS, batteries, PDUs, STSs, etc.
• Proficient with hand tools and test equipment for maintenance/repairs.
• Strong verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently with initiative.
• Knowledge of equipment manufacturers’ specifications.
• Military veterans with Electrical/Mechanical background valued.

Responsabilités

• Conduct commissioning-focused design reviews, prepare test procedures and reports, and oversee on-site testing.
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency response, equipment start‑up, and field modifications.
• Coordinate with technical support to resolve maintenance or operational issues.
• Assist in developing Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
• Report to a supervisor for unusual issues or developments.
• Train periodically at company headquarters on testing equipment and rebuilding systems.
• Complete Field Service Reports promptly and provide proactive recommendations to clients.
