Job summary

EOLA Power seeks a highly skilled UPS Field Engineer to perform start-up, testing, commissioning and field service for power electronics at customer sites. The role is home-based with regional travel in South Florida, including nights and on-call coverage as needed.

You will conduct on-site testing, preventive maintenance, and emergency support, using brands like Emerson/Liebert/Vertiv, APC/MGE/Schneider, Eaton/Powerware/PDI. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience; 10+ years preferred.
• Skilled in troubleshooting UPS, batteries, PDUs, STSs, etc.
• Proficient with hand tools and test equipment for maintenance/repairs.
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and be on-call when needed.
• Experience with third-party UPS service providers is a plus.
• OEM brands training or experience with Emerson/Liebert/Vertiv, APC/MGE/Schneider, Eaton/Powerware/PDI required.

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning-focused design reviews and oversee on-site testing.
• Perform preventive maintenance, emergency response, start-up, and field modifications.
• Coordinate with technical support to resolve issues.
• Develop Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
• Complete Field Service Reports and provide proactive client recommendations.
• Trains at headquarters on testing equipment and rebuilding systems.
