Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a UPS/Power Systems Technician for the Critical Power Group. The role involves maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting UPS and battery systems at government, institutional, and commercial facilities.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years OEM experience, an Electrical/Electronics degree, strong NEC knowledge, and the ability to work 7x24 on-call with travel. We offer a competitive benefits package and opportunities for training.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent
• Proficient in reading and interpreting complex technical instructions, plans, blueprints, and schematics
• Strong knowledge of NEC and maintenance practices, procedures, and quality control

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, and related infrastructure
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls at high-profile facilities
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and maintain company equipment and documentation
• Provide technical support and maintain technical documentation for study and review
