Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician for the Critical Power Group to maintain and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, and related power infrastructure at high-profile government, institutional, and commercial facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, emergency service calls, and provide engineering support, with 24/7 on-call availability and periodic overnight travel. Candidates should have an electrical/electronics degree and 5+ years OEM experience; strong safety,

Qualifications

• Requires an AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent training.
• Minimum of 5+ years OEM experience (Vertiv, SCI, Cyberex, Toshiba, Mitsubishi, Gutor, APC, MGE, Schneider Electric, Powerware/Eaton) or eight years of progressively difficult experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and troubleshoot UPS systems, batteries, and other critical infrastructure equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment testing; handle emergency service calls at government, institutional, and commercial sites.
• Provide technical support and engineering assistance to customers and other divisions; coordinate on-site subcontractors as needed.
