Job summary

M.C. Dean is hiring for a Critical Power Field Technician in California to maintain and service UPS and battery systems at critical facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to emergency calls, and coordinate with on-site teams to ensure reliability and safety. The role requires 7+ years experience with power electronics or UPS infrastructure, strong technical writing, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent.
• Experience with UPS systems, batteries, and related equipment.
• Proficiency reading complex technical instructions and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and service UPS systems and batteries at customer sites.
• Coordinate on-site subcontractors and maintain safety standards.
• Prepare field service reports and time/expense documentation.
