Job summary

M.C. Dean, Inc. is seeking a Critical Power Technician to service UPS and battery systems across high-profile facilities.

The role requires daily travel, on-call availability, and technical supervision by the Critical Power Group. You will perform preventive maintenance, testing, and emergency service to ensure reliability of critical power infrastructure. Candidates should hold an electrical/electronics degree and have OEM experience, with strong schematic interpretation and safety practices.

Qualifications

• AA/BS degree in Electrical and/or Electronics from an accredited college or university.
• 2+ years OEM experience in power electronic system maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical instructions, plans blueprints, and schematic diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Daily travel with independent work structure.
• Emergency call availability 24/7 unless on PTO or Off Call.
• Maintain/safeguard company issued equipment, tools, and instruments.
• Battery Repair & Replacement; installations and replacements.
• Perform preventative maintenance service to equipment under contract as scheduled.
