The Learning Experience is hiring an experienced UPK Teacher to create a fun, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, grow, and thrive. You’ll have the support of our proprietary L.E.A.P.

Curriculum®, classroom resources, and a collaborative center team—giving you more time to focus on what matters most: teaching and building meaningful relationships with children and families. You’ll lead a safe, developmentally appropriate preschool classroom, implementing hands-on

Qualifikationen

• NYS Certified Teacher with a minimum Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in preschool or early childhood settings.
• Knowledge of NY childcare licensing, health and safety requirements.
• Ability to build positive relationships with families and coworkers.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

• Support social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development.

• Maintain materials, routines, and required documentation.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and leadership for a great family experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30-2:00pm

You’ll have the support of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, classroom resources, and a collaborative center team—giving you more time to focus on what matters most: teaching and building meaningful relationships with children and families.

What You'll Do

Lead a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate preschool classroom

• Bring TLE's L.E.A.P. Curriculum® to life through hands-on lessons and activities
• Support children's social-emotional, language, cognitive, and physical development
• Create a positive classroom environment where every child feels welcomed and supported
• Observe children's development and communicate progress with families
• Maintain classroom routines, learning materials, and required documentation
• Partner with fellow teachers and center leadership to create an exceptional family experience
• Follow New York childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

What We're Looking For

• NYS Certified Teacher
• Minimum Bachelor's Degree
• Previous experience in a preschool, childcare, daycare, or early childhood classroom
• Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, CDA, credential, or relevant coursework/experience consistent with NY requirements
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for helping young children learn and developAbility to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Must meet applicable background screening, health, and training requirements
