Job summary

The Learning Experience in Kings Park, NY is hiring a Lead Preschool Teacher to create a nurturing, developmentally appropriate classroom while implementing the LEAP Curriculum®. You’ll collaborate with a center team and families to support young children’s growth.

Ideal candidates hold an NY lead teacher credential or relevant degree, bring preschool experience, and prioritize safety, inclusivity, and positive relationships. This full-time role includes competitive pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must meet applicable New York State requirements for a lead teacher
• Previous experience in a preschool, childcare, daycare, or early childhood classroom
• Early Childhood Education or Child Development degree, CDA, credential, or relevant coursework/experience consistent with NY requirements
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Passion for helping young children learn and develop
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• Must meet applicable background screening, health, and training requirements

Location: Kings Park, NY

Schedule: Full-Time, Monday - Friday

The Learning Experience is hiring an experienced Lead Preschool Teacher to create a fun, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, grow, and thrive.

You’ll have the support of our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, classroom resources, and a collaborative center team- giving you more time to focus on what matters most: teaching and building meaningful relationships with children and families.
