Kiddie Academy of Whitestone is seeking an energetic 3K/UPK Lead Teacher to join our team and inspire young learners in a caring, safety-conscious environment.

You will plan engaging lessons, build strong relationships with children and families, and collaborate with our DOE-aligned professionals. This 10-month role values dedication to early education and child development.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be on track to hold one of the New York State teaching certificates listed to be eligible.
• 10 month position (Summer Camp optional).
• English-Spanish bilingual skills are an asset.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the Creative Curriculum.
• Foster positive relationships with each child across social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Build strong partnerships with families and encourage active family engagement.
• Communicate with families daily regarding progress and participate in family conferences twice annually.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development sessions to align activities with quality standards.

• Attend Kiddie Academy staff meetings, Department of Education (DOE) professional development sessions, and weekly 3-K team meetings to support collaboration and ensure activities align with quality standards.
