Kiddie Academy of Floral Park is hiring an energetic Lead Teacher to plan and supervise daily activities for a caring, safety‑minded classroom. You will collaborate with a team of child care professionals who value hands-on, student-centered learning.

Requirements include a CDA credential or degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) and a minimum of 2 years’ teaching or childcare experience. This is an in-person role at our Floral Park location with comprehensive benefits.

Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for the daily planning, management, and supervision of the classroom and children. Generally, is assisted in the classroom by an assistant teacher.

• Establish relationships with children and their families.
• Ensure that the physical, social and emotional needs of the children are met daily.
• Ensures all policies and procedures to keep the children healthy and safe are being implemented.
• Assists and supervises children during all activities.
• Ensures that appearance, cleanliness and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
• Completes all Academy and classroom paperwork: for example, daily notes, student accident reports, attendance reports.
