Job summary

Maricopa County Recorder's Office is seeking an Election Worker (Seasonal) to support UOCAVA duties, assist military and overseas voters with registration and ballot processing, and manage high-volume tasks with accuracy. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and advanced computer skills.

Ideal candidates adapt quickly, work flexible hours, and can handle sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Must be registered or eligible to register to vote in Arizona by time of hire.
• Must pass applicable background screening.
• Must be able to work irregular hours and shifts based on departmental needs.
• Must be able to type 30 WPM.

Responsibilities

• Assist Military and Overseas voters to register to vote; request early ballots; process returned ballots.
• Provide excellent communication skills via telephone and email.
• Ability to multitask and manage a high volume of various tasks that are time-sensitive.
• Use Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, and Paint daily.
• Navigate specialized software using a desktop computer.
