Maricopa County Recorder’s Office seeks a Temporary Recruiter to hire election workers and staff for the 2026 election cycle. The role is based at 301 W.
Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ 85003, through mid‑November 2026, with required experience in office, administrative, or HR roles and the ability to pass background checks. The candidate must be a registered voter in Arizona, proficient with Microsoft Office and Workday, and able to work irregular hours.
Election season is approaching, and we need your help building a strong team to support the 2026 election cycle. As a Temporary Recruiter, you will play a key role in recruiting and hiring election workers to ensure staffing requests are met and operations are ready for each election. This temporary position is based at 301 W. Jefferson St., Phoenix, AZ 85003, and will run through mid-November 2026.
The Maricopa County Recorder’s Office (MCRO) is responsible for maintaining the Maricopa County voter registration records and for administering elections in partnership with the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The MCRO also maintains the permanent public record of over 50 million documents dating back to 1871, including deeds, plat maps, and a variety of other important documents. Our office serves over 2.5 million registered voters as well as 4.4 million residents across Maricopa County. The MCRO offers a friendly, welcoming, and collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and develop new skills.
