Responsibilities

  • Assist Military and Overseas voters to register to vote; request early ballots; process returned ballots.
  • Provide excellent communication via telephone and email.

This position is eligible for overtime compensation for all hours worked over 40 in the designated workweek.**Job Type**Election Workers (Seasonal)**Department**Recorder**About the Position**The Temporary Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act (UOCAVA) Clerk is a skilled multitasker who works with high-volume, time-sensitive work. They are responsible for assisting military and overseas voters in registering to vote, updating voters’ records, processing requests for early ballots, and providing instructions on how to send/receive ballot materials. The Clerk must possess professional communication skills (verbal and written) and have advanced computer skills. This position may also support other divisional operations within Early Voting (e.g., Signature Verification, Curing, etc.).
