Job summary

Chatham University is seeking an Assistant Transportation Fleet Coordinator to support daily operations and maintenance of the university’s vehicle fleet. The role includes transporting students, faculty, staff and visitors on and off campus while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include stepping in for the Fleet Coordinator when needed, maintaining fleet services, performing periodic equipment checks, and staying flexible with hours, including nights, weekends and

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong verbal communication, in person and via radio.

Responsibilities

• Substitute Fleet Coordinator when absent.
• Maintain fleet services as needed.
• Conduct periodic checks of fleet equipment and report malfunctions.
• Available for flexible hours and days.
• Maintain professional relations with students, staff, faculty, and visitors.
