Assistant Transportation Fleet Coordinator

Chatham University is seeking a dedicated and professional Assistant Transportation Fleet Coordinator to join the Transportation Department. This position supports the dailyoperation and maintenance of the University's vehicle fleet andassists with administrative recordkeeping responsibilities. TheAssistant Fleet Coordinator is also responsible for safelytransporting students, faculty, staff, and visitors both on and offuniversity property while providing excellent customerservice.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assume Fleet Coordinator duties in their absence.
• Maintain fleet services when needed.
• Conduct periodic checks of fleet equipment and reportmalfunctions.
• Must be available for flexible work hours and days.
• Maintain professional and positive community relations withstudents, staff, faculty, and visitors.

Qualifications:

• CDL Class B with airbrake and passenger endorsementspreferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Strong verbal communication skills (in person and viaradio).
• Ability to work independently and handle routine duties withoutdirect supervision.
• Availability to work flexible schedules, including nights,weekends, and holidays.
• 1-2 years of transportation experience or related fieldpreferred.

Salary Range:

$45,000 - $50,000/hour 35-hour work week.
