Job summary

East Texas A&M University is seeking an entry-level Fleet Coordinator to help coordinate and maintain university fleet vehicles and transportation resources. The role includes vehicle inspections, fleet record maintenance, and support for driver certification and training activities.

You will assist with vehicle maintenance scheduling, registration, inventory, and compliance with state and university requirements, while contributing to safety and efficient transportation operations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/GED.
• Two years of related experience. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of fleet vehicles and identify maintenance, repair, cleaning, or safety needs.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and service appointments with internal and external service providers.
• Maintain accurate fleet records including vehicle maintenance, fuel usage, mileage, registrations, permits, and related documentation.
• Assist with vehicle registration renewals, title processing, and compliance with applicable state, federal, university, and departmental requirements.
• Prepare monthly and recurring fleet-related reports, including fuel, toll, vehicle usage, maintenance, and motor pool reports.
