Job summary

You will balance cash, open and service accounts, and uphold bank policies while creating a welcoming branch experience. Requirements include a High School Diploma/GED and at least 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience; compliance training is provided for proficiency in basic account opening.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Successfully completes required compliance and First Mid training curriculum to be proficient in basic account opening.
• Advancement in this role will be based on management discretion and performance.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall customer satisfaction.
• Abides by company service standards, including greeting customers and making them feel welcome.
• Process transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines including deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing and cashier’s checks.
• Maintain a cash drawer by performing daily balancing procedures.
• Open and service accounts including checking, savings and basic business accounts.
• Educate customers to use alternate delivery systems such as ATM, Online and Mobile Banking.
