The role emphasizes building relationships with customers, cross-selling financial products, and contributing to branch goals through proactive service and collaboration with management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of customer service and cash handling experience preferred.
• Previous sales experience preferred. Completion of required compliance and training curriculum to be proficient in basic account opening.

Responsibilities

• Create a quality service experience by ensuring timely resolution to customer needs and overall satisfaction.
• Greet customers and make them feel welcome to First Mid Bank & Trust.
• Process transactions with accuracy and efficiency within policy guidelines (deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing).
• Gain manager assistance for suspicious transactions and obtain approvals for transactions outside limits.
• Maintain cash drawer and assist with branch duties; open accounts and perform changes as requested.
• Promote improvements to processes to enhance customer experience; participate in branch promotions.
